Jeffrey I. Kasper, M.D.

Dr. Kasper is the ultimate embodiment of the Georgetown Bulldog! Raised in the greater Washington D.C. area, Kasper enrolled at the prestigious Georgetown University and completed his studies in Psychology and Biology. Additional graduate work was continued at Georgetown in Human Physiology followed by entrance into Medical school. As a second-generation ophthalmologist, his lifelong goal of medicine awaited him at the Georgetown School of Medicin e where he graduated with distinction. After an intensive year studying internal medicine at several Washington, D.C., hospitals, he pursued Residency training in ophthalmology at Georgetown University Hospital. His continued interest in the study of retinal diseases took him to the University of Kansas Medical Center, Kansas City, Kansas, where he completed a two-year fellowship in vitreoretinal diseases and surgery.

Martin E. Orlick, M.D., F.A.C.S.

Dr. Orlick was the founding partner of the practice. Born and raised in St. Petersburg, Orlick was proud to serve his community since 1991. He holds a Bachelors from the University of South Florida and completed his medical studies at the Thomas Jefferson School of Medicine in Philadelphia. Following his internship at the University of Miami, he completed his Ophthalmology training at Tulane University in New Orleans. He volunteered his time in the eye clinic at James A. Haley VA hospital, supervising the care of veterans while teaching ophthalmology residents. He had vast experience in treating a variety of retinal diseases including macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, retinal tears and detachments, macular pucker and holes, retinal vein occlusions, and uveitis.
